Hi! I have to do a presentation in my class. The topic is "Trace and explain the development of foreign policy in the period of 1860-1900" What should I include in my presentation to give my classmates an understanding on this topic? Besides what reference book should I read other than Immanuel C.Y. Hsu. Pls reply me as soon as possible as I have to hand in the first draft to my teacher on 27/1!! THX for your co-operation!!!! Some ideas: 1. From War to co-operative policy 1860-1870s 2. Growing western imperialism (including Japan) 1880s-1890s : wars and conflicts 3. China's response to western challenge in the period in areas/ideas of reform - conservative and progressive. 4.
